Privacy policy

Caveman Computer Consulting provides CBD ShipGuard for Wix Stores. This policy describes the app's handling of merchant and customer information.
Information the app uses
- Store configuration: product and category identifiers, product and category names and memberships, selected shipping destinations, rule text, optional merchant reasons, rule status, settings and change records.
- Checkout evaluation: product identifiers and the delivery country and state supplied by Wix are processed to apply the merchant's rules. The app does not intentionally retain a copy of a shopper's full shipping address, checkout contents or payment details in its rule records.
- Installation and subscription: Wix installation and site identifiers and the current app subscription status are used to scope access and activate paid features. Wix and its payment providers handle payments; CBD ShipGuard does not collect payment card numbers.
- Age controls: the updated app keeps age responses and checkout confirmations only in temporary memory for the currently loaded page. It does not write them to cookies, local storage, session storage, or an external database. A full reload requires confirmation again. The app does not ask for a birth date, identity document or biometric information.
- Support: information a merchant sends to our support email, such as contact details, issue descriptions and screenshots. Please do not send customer personal data, passwords, payment-card information, identity documents, or unredacted customer screenshots. The app does not automatically send customer records to email support.
How information is used
We use information to provide merchant-selected shipping restrictions, deliver age self-attestation controls, manage subscriptions and access, troubleshoot problems, respond to support requests and protect the service. Rule matching is not a legal determination.
Storage and service providers
The app runs on Wix and stores app configuration in Wix-hosted app collections and embedded-script settings associated with the merchant's installation. Wix processes information under its own applicable terms and privacy policy. The app does not export or persist shopper personal data to publisher computers or third-party databases. Browser memory is used temporarily to display and operate the app. Wix's own cookies, authentication, checkout storage, infrastructure and processors remain governed by Wix's policies. Email support is handled through the publisher's Gmail account, separately from app storage; information voluntarily sent by email is processed by that email service. App code does not add advertising trackers or sell shopper age responses. Information may be disclosed when required by applicable law or to address misuse and security incidents.
Browser storage and retention
The updated app discards its age-confirmation state on full page reload. Earlier app versions stored age responses and checkout flags in the browser. The updated code removes ShipGuard's legacy keys when it next runs on that same site origin; it cannot erase data on a browser that never loads the update or when the browser prevents storage access. Shoppers can clear site data themselves. The app does not retain customer-level age-confirmation records in Wix collections. Paused and deleted rules are retained so the merchant can restore them. Subscription expiration does not erase saved settings. Uninstalling the app must not be treated as a confirmed data-erasure request; contact us to request erasure and confirmation. Support records are retained while needed to handle the request and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Wix may retain infrastructure records according to its own policies.
Choices and privacy requests
Merchants control rule content, destinations and optional age settings. Shoppers can clear their browser's site storage. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information we hold. We may verify the requester's identity and authority before disclosing or deleting information. Customers should contact the merchant for order records and store privacy matters. Applicable privacy rights are not limited by this policy.
Security and updates
We use Wix authentication and permission checks and limit app data to the relevant installation. No service can guarantee absolute security. We will update this policy when the app's information practices change and publish the revised effective date.

Google Reviews Connect Widget privacy policy

Caveman Computer Consulting provides Google Reviews Connect Widget for Wix. This policy describes the app's handling of merchant, reviewer and site-visitor information.
Information the app uses
- Business connection: Wix site and app-installation identifiers, the selected Google Business Profile location identifier and connection status. The merchant authorizes Google access through Wix. The app uses Wix's connection services and does not ask for or store the merchant's Google password.
- Reviews: the connected business's name, overall rating, review count, review identifiers, reviewer display names and available profile images, ratings, review text, dates and available business replies. This information is read through Wix's Google Business Profile services to display and manage reviews.
- Configuration and moderation: widget appearance, placement, page choices, ordering and publication settings, plus moderation decisions associated with hashed review identifiers. These records are scoped to the relevant app installation and business selection.
- Subscription: Wix installation and subscription status are used to activate paid features. Wix and its payment providers handle payments; the app does not collect payment-card numbers.
- Support: information voluntarily sent to our support email, such as contact details, issue descriptions and screenshots. Please do not send passwords, payment-card information, identity documents or unnecessary customer personal data. The app does not automatically send review or customer records to email support.
How information is used and displayed
We use information to connect the merchant's selected business, show its Google reviews and aggregate rating, apply the merchant's publication and appearance settings, manage subscriptions and access, troubleshoot problems, respond to support requests and protect the service. Reviews enabled for publication are displayed to visitors of the merchant's website. Display filters do not change the original reviews on Google or the business's overall Google rating.
Storage and service providers
The app runs on Wix and stores configuration and moderation records in Wix-hosted app storage. Review text, reviewer names, ratings, replies and business labels are read live and processed temporarily in server and browser memory; the app does not save those contents in its app collections or a publisher database. Short-lived in-memory requests support dashboard operation. Public review responses instruct browsers not to store them in an HTTP cache. Wix and Google may retain their own source data and infrastructure records under their respective policies.
The app's code does not add advertising trackers or persist review content in cookies, local storage or session storage. Wix's authentication, cookies, platform storage, infrastructure and processors remain governed by Wix's policies. The app does not export or persist reviewer personal data to publisher computers or third-party databases. Retention and disconnecting
Live review content is not retained in app collections. Earlier test versions used a review cache; the current app removes legacy cached review content when its cleanup runs and does not refill that cache. Saved settings and moderation decisions may remain after a subscription expires or the merchant changes the selected business. Previous-business reviews are hidden when the app's selection is removed or changed. Removing a business selection in this app is separate from revoking the Google connection in Wix or the Google account's access settings.
Uninstalling the app must not be treated as a confirmed data-erasure request; contact us to request erasure and confirmation.
