Service and merchant responsibility
CBD ShipGuard is provided by Caveman Computer Consulting for merchants using Wix Stores. It lets authorized merchants create and manage shipping restrictions for individual products or product categories across U.S. states and DC, test rule outcomes in a simulator, and enable optional age self-attestation controls.
You are responsible for choosing lawful products, markets, destinations and age requirements, maintaining accurate rules, testing your store and complying with laws and your Wix obligations. The app does not monitor legal changes, automatically create legal rules, give legal advice or certify that a transaction is lawful.
Subscription and cancellation
The ShipGuard plan is US $9.99 per month or US $100 per year, billed annually for the yearly option, plus applicable taxes shown by Wix. Annual billing saves US $19.88 compared with twelve monthly payments. Wix handles checkout, renewals and subscription management under the terms presented during purchase. No free trial is promised by these terms.
Canceling auto-renewal preserves access through the paid period recognized by Wix. When Wix marks the subscription inactive, rule creation, restoration and activation are unavailable, shipping enforcement stops and age protections are disabled after the app's next successful subscription check. Saved settings are retained. Storefront age checks run on page load, when a page regains focus and approximately once per minute while visible. A temporary billing outage may delay a confirmed status change. Review your store immediately after any subscription change.
Cancellation, refunds and mandatory consumer rights are governed by the applicable purchase terms and law. Contact support for assistance; these terms do not promise a particular refund outcome.
Operation and limitations
Category rules apply according to current Wix category membership. The simulator is a planning tool and does not replace a live checkout test. Age controls record self-attestation; they do not verify identity, age documents or legal eligibility. The checkout age control is designed for the standard Wix delivery step. Alternate checkout and express-payment flows require separate testing and may not provide the same prompts.
Choose the shipping data-outage preference appropriate for your business. “Allow checkout” can permit an order while data is unavailable; “Block until available” can prevent otherwise eligible orders. Network interruptions, Wix changes, browser behavior and missing or stale data can affect results. The app must be tested after relevant changes, and continued uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed.
Acceptable use and access
Use the app only for stores you are authorized to administer. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with the service or upload content you lack rights to use. Keep Wix account credentials secure. We may restrict access to address abuse or security threats as permitted by applicable law and Wix's platform rules.
Changes and termination
Features may be updated to maintain compatibility or improve the service. Material changes to pricing or these terms will be communicated as required by law and Wix's policies. You may stop using and uninstall the app. Uninstallation and subscription cancellation are separate actions in Wix; confirm both when ending use. Contact support for data-erasure requests.
Rights and service availability
The publisher retains rights in the app; merchants retain rights in their own content and configuration. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is supplied as available without a guarantee of legal compliance, uninterrupted operation or suitability for every checkout path. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
